Burglars Beat 82-Year-Old Woman With Coffee Pot

CLEVELAND, Ohio - After surprising burglars in her home in the middle of the night, Ann Pelyak, 82, paid the price... She was beaten mercilessly by the burglars with her own coffee pot.

On top of the coffe pot beating, the thieves also stole rings, watches and other valuables from her home. Local gas stations also reported her ATM cards were used there after the robbery.

Ann Pelyak lost a lot more than just posessions, she also lost her freedom. Since the robbery the senior citizen has lost her courage to live alone and will subsequently be placed in a nursing home. (Zone81.com)

Well, you have to be pretty low to beat an 82-year old lady senseless with a coffe pot.

Couldn't they just have held her down while the other guy stole the stuff? Or was she comming at them like a linebacker? Somehow I can not imagine this 82-year old lady with numb-chucks screaming "I'm gonna get you suckers! Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" while jumping down the stairs into the kitchen.
